From The President - November 2016
Dear Fellow ACA Members,
Fall has finally arrived with cooler weather. The leaves are
beginning to change and we don’t melt when we step outside.
There are football games to attend and everyone is gearing up for
the World Series. Halloween is fast approaching and bags of candy
are flying off the shelves. The presidential election is winding down to the last days. I am sure that everyone will be grateful for the final vote and the absence of campaign
commercials. This is an exciting time of the year. It is hard to believe that the holiday season is fast approaching.
The ACA evening recently at Main Event was a great success. We had a big crowdturn out to bowl and share a good time with friends. The event was well attended and I saw many new faces. I want to thank our sponsors for contributing to ACA in order to make this event possible. I also want to thank Frances Harper for her hard work. As
usual, she did an outstanding job. A grand time was had by all.
It is time to nominate those outstanding adjusters for Claims Person of the Year. Pleasecomplete the form you’ll find in this month’s Claimscene and return it to Valerie Wynn, Chairperson of the Claims Person of the Year Committee. We are looking forward to the intense process of choosing that one special adjuster who personifies the excellence of our profession.
This year I want the ACA to have more of a presence on Facebook. We hope to be working on this in the months to come. We welcome all suggestions and assistance in attaining this goal.
This year we are planning our holiday event during the evening, to help make our events more available to all adjusters. Please mark December 1, 2016 on your calendars for dinner at North Point Diner. Come after work to celebrate the season. We will have more details in the near future.
