From The President - September 2016
The summer is winding down. The school year has begun and
with this comes an increase in auto accidents. I guess that’s job security.
Our hearts and our prayers go out to the people of Louisiana. Then, there are the multitudes of fires out west. I am brought to tears when I watch all of the news coverage. It is heartbreaking to see all of the homes destroyed and the thousands of people who lost all of their possessions. And then there are all those poor, overworked flood & fire claims adjusters that must deal with all these claims. But I do not feel sorry for all the independents adjusters and appraisers. They are rolling in the dough at this point.
Our Summer Wind Down event at Pappacieto’s was a great success. The weather was perfect for the patio, the food & drink were amazing and I saw a lot of new faces among the crowd. I want to thank Frances Harper, Tammie Kater, Esther Powers and Ann Wright for their tireless efforts to plan this event.
Mark your calendars for our next event at Top Golf on 9-15-16. Look for the e-mail blast with registration information. This is going to be a popular event, so register early and tell your claims friends.
The Atlanta Claims Association is looking for new board and committee members. All those interested in joining the fun, contact us on our website to let us know of your interest.
Yours In Service,
